*****Students must have completed the 16hr Defensive Pistol course or speak with NHFT prior to registering for Advanced Pistol. Deposits are non-refundable*****

This 1-day pistol course focuses on developing aggressive gun-handling skills. The concepts of dominating the weapon, threat, and all visual areas while moving off the line of force will be emphasized throughout the class.

Students will develop reflexive skills that will enable them to quickly and efficiently engage threats.  Course will cover the following topics:

Review of shooting fundamentals
Presentation from the holster
Moving off the line of force and lateral displacement
Threat assessment and area scanning
Dominating the weapon
Ammunition management and reloading techniques
Malfunction clearance drills
Combat gun-handling skills
Engaging multiple threats
Engaging threats from behind cover

Students should plan to bring:

• • 350-500 rounds of ammunition (available for purchase)
  • Boxed lunch, water, sunscreen, bug spray, etc…
  • Firearm, 2-3 magazines, Outside the Waistband holster, magazine pouch (loaner firearms available)
  • Weather appropriate clothing as we will shoot rain or shine
  • Stiff belt
  • Quality eye and ear protection

Deposit due at time of registration.  Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to 1 future class within 12 months if cancelled more than 72 hours prior to class.
